We just saw the first "pregnancy" pics of TomKitten to be. Ms. Kat of TomKat appears to be more than 3 months pregnant, people are saying. Hmmm...interesting.

What I've been trying to figure out is this:
did they get engaged and then purposely get pregnant?
did they get engaged and in the excitement accidentally get pregnant?
OR.....
did they accidentally get pregnant and THEN decide to get engaged? They got engaged June 17th, and people don't announce they are pregnant until at least 3 months. Could it be that they got preg early June and waited a bit later to announce? Say at 4 months? (which is in sync with what the "people" are saying above).

Sienna Miller and Jude Law are engaged no more. We all know that things have been strained since Jude and the nanny had an affair and it became public. More Fall TV talk.....

So I'm watching a lot of shows this fall. Last night watched the premieres of DH and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Curious what everyone thought of the shows?

Also, this year, in addition to my faves Lost, OC and (in Jan) 24, DH , Curb and The Office, I'm adding Prison Break - which is a good one, trying out Invasion (interesting - I predict that guy copy married to the blond is an alien) and Reunion (only saw 1st ep so far - had high hopes, but didn't think it was so great).... and then SNL when it returns - Steve Carrell hosting the premiere!

Marcia Cross is great. She should get an award. I think she and Eva Longoria are the best at going beyond their "normal" personalities - Felicity Huffman I like a LOT, but I think her role isn't that much of a stretch, and same with Terri Hatcher. But the other two, esp. Marcia are great.

I'm trying to think if i have shows every night:
Monday - prison break
Tuesday - Office
Wednesday - Lost and Invasion
Thursday - OC and Reunion
Friday - ?
Saturday - SNL

starts for me this week! OC and Reunion baby! i have very high expectations for reunion. I hope it's good, and i'm not overexcited. my brother saw the pilot and says it's a good show. also, i noticed that the cast is mostly people who have been on other shows vs. total newbies. there is hayley/tessa, from both OC and the North Shore... 'member that one? a guy from American Dreams, and a girl from some David E. Kelley lawyer show.... can't remember the name, but Claire from 90210 was on it.

we tivo'd prison break, but missed the first two eps. sounds good though.

and curb your enthusiasm is starting up again. goodbye entourage, hello curb. the entourage finale was pretty good. i thought vince was going to kick mandy moore off of aquaman, but guess not. how funny is jeremy piven. he is SO funny. orig, i wasn't sure this was really his type of role, as he's uz. john cusack's nerdyish, nice guy buddy. but he is great as ari gold!!! love the show.

hmmm. i can't believe some fall shows are coming soon. I think I talked about it last week, but OC is starting in like three weeks. Not sure about the other shows.... but I can't believe it's almost fall. well, fall TV at least.... and it is getting darker earlier....

britney's gonna have her baby anytime now.... crazy huh. last i heard it was a boy, and she was going to name him Preston. Preston Federline I guess? Pre-Fed? And I heard Jen and Ben are having a girl, and they are planning on naming her Violet. Violet Affleck. Vi-o-leck? Not lovin' that one. I personally think somewhat unique names COULD be cute - potentially - but just picking a random unique name to do it is pointless. It seems strange to look at a little baby and think, aw, Violet! or aw, Hazel. and the newest, Poet Goldberg - Soleil Moon Frye's new baby. PoGo? And Apple - i know everyone thinks is silly - myself included - but out of those four names, I have to say, I think it's the cutest. It is a nutty name, but i can at least picture some cute blond kid in pigtails with big rosy cheeks. Apple Martin sounds like an apple martin-i, but besides that, like some aloof fancy girl kinda. 'Ap-tin?

Sad News

Let's take a moment to think about Peter Jennings, who sadly, passed away this weekend. My prayers and condolences to his family. Peter was a great newscaster, and will be missed by many. As you listen to those who knew him talk about him, the words that come up the most are fair and decent. Two such important qualities - he was a great man.

so, we saw dukes of hazzard this weekend. i know, i know. pretty embarassing. the boys liked it, and i feel asleep. and yes, jessica looked v. good.

i also saw the front of vince vaughn's new pad in Chicago! v. nice. do you all know he is now going to be calling Chicago his home?! He loves it here and is going to be permanently living here.
